1 July: Saint-Maur Beavers 12 Cumberland Falcons 24 Cumberland are up their as one of the favourites for promotion following this win over the team they also beat in the Billy Boston Cup Semi Final. With just an 8 point advantage at half time the game could have gone any of three ways but Cumberland stepped up a gear and secured the win with tries from Sykes, Mather, Gillette and Harland and 4 Graham Holroyd goals. The only points for the French were tries from Penny and Dunemann with 2 goals for McNamara.
17 June: An injury to kicker Steve McNamara proved crucial as Saint-Maur went out of the Billy Boston Cup to Cumberland Falcons. Had the two missed kicks gone over, extra time could well have seen the game go a different way.
10 June: Saint-Maur had this week off and will take on Cumberland in the Semi Finals next week.
3 June: Saint-Maur have qualified for the semi finals of the Billy Boston Cup with an exciting win over Barcelona Celtic and have next week off to recover.
27 May: Saint-Maur bounced back with a good win over Milan putting them out of the competition. The win puts them top of the Group but there is still plenty that can change!
20 May: Back to earth with a bump as Saint-Maur failed to beat alphabetically listed Rutland with only a McNamara goal avoiding a whitewash.
13 May: Saint-Maur won the French derby with a 16-6 win over Hervé with tries from Offiah, Penny and Dunemann while McNamara kicked 2 goals.
10 May: Saint-Maur had a good win in their French derby trial game against Premiership French Patriots. Tries from Penny and Charlton and 4 goals from McNamara sealed a 16-2 victory.
7 May: Saint Maur got off to a good start with a 12-8 trial win against Italians RC Milan at home with a try from Lynch and 4 from 4 by McNamara.
4 May: Saint Maur Beavers have confirmed a trial game against RC Milan at home on 7 May 2001.
28 April: Jerome Gilbon has today remained quiet over newspaper reports that foot and mouth disease may affect the Beavers chances in their EIRL Division One campaign.
