1 July: RC Milan 14 Belfast Warriors 6 Proof if ever proof was needed that no team can be complacent in this tough division. Milan had failed to win a game this season yet delighted their fans at the Marconi Stadium with tries from Dooley and Dorahy who added 3 goals. An Ibbotson try and solitary Hughes goal were the only scores for Belfast in what must be a vital start for the Italians.

10 June: Milan slumped to yet another dismal defeat and left the competition as the only team to fail to win a match.
3 June: RC Milan had this week off following their elimination from the Billy Boston Cup last week.
29 May: We find it difficult to understand the weekends score (2-26) St. Maur Beavers haven't improved that much in just over 2 weeks.
When you consider that we won the penalties, had even time in the oppositions half, the handling errors were 13-15 in our favour, and also the completion rate was 63-65, and we made only 12 tackles more than the Beavers (221-209) one would think the score would have been a lot closer. The players can take some of the blame, drop ball at important times didn't help, combined with lapse in defence.
As coach of RC Milan i believe there are certain people deliberately trying to damage and undermine this club. it has been mooted around the press that our playing staff are to old and also of poor form, so yes we might only be a new club, but the morale is sky high.
So any team that thinks RC Milan will be easy, watch out we will regroup over the next few weeks, in time for the competition. Coach Mahoney and his Italian team will improve because failure is not an option.
27 May: Milan went out of the Billy Boston Cup after a disappointing 26-8 defeat against Saint-Maur.
20 May: Milan again suffered defeat going down 26-16 to Hervé and their Billy Boston Cup dreams lie in tatters barring a miracle.
13 May: RC Milan were outclassed and outplayed as they stumbled to a 16-6 defeat against Barcelona in the Billy Boston Cup. The only try came from O'Meara while Dorahy kicked a goal.
10 May: Milan fell to yet another defeat this time 12-6 against Belfast Warriors despite a try from Knox (G: Dorahy). The only good sign was they did not let the Irish score a try, but did concede 6 successful penalties.
7 May: In a disappointing performance, RC Milan went down 12-8 to Saint-Maur Beavers. Williamson and Dorahy both got tries but Dorahy's failure to convert any of the tries cost them the game.
4 May: RC Milan have confirmed trial games against Saint-Maur Beavers on 7 May and Belfast Warriors on 10 May 2001.
3 May: RC Milan experienced technical problems at the start of the draft, coach Jack Mahoney wasn't a happy man after missing two players he had targeted (Andrew Dunemann, and Mike Kavanagh), coach Mahoney was more than happy to pick up players like Daniel Gartner, Tony Tatapu and Stephen Holgate theses players have played for their countries.
As well as Brendan O,Meara, Brandon Costin, Justin Dooley, Ben Rauter and Graham Appo, all playing in the NRL in Australia, coach Mahoney said "the rest of the players are all goer's.
I am really keen on the Cumbrian lads(Lewthwaite, Rumney, Williamson and Beaumont) and I think Williamson will be the find of the year.
Last but not least Glen Tomlinson is the man Mahoney will hope to guide his squad around the paddock, while prop Matt Sturm will be Mister Reliable week in and week out.
