1 July: Hervé 10 Biarritz Ocelots XIII 19
Hervé should really have done better in this French derby to kick off EIRL Division One in front of 13,366 at The Stade Mitterand but the visitors seemed to want the game more in the second half and overcame a 10-6 deficit to win easily with tries from Burrows, Davidson and Highton, 3 goals from Atkins and a Burrows drop goal to make sure. Hervé's points all came in the first half from Speak and 3 Barry Eaton goals.
24 June: Hervé were unable to reach the heights of last week as they went down to Cumberland in the Billy Boston Cup Final at Old Trafford. They pushed the Falcons all the way and can consider themselves unlucky not to have won a truly amazing game which ended 18-14 against the French.
17 June: An amazing performance saw Hervé reach the final of the Billy Boston Cup as they demolished previously unbeaten Aberdeenshire 22-2. They will play Cumberland in the final. Barry Eaton missed his first ever kick for the club.
10 June: By virtue of beating Barcelona, Hervé secured a semi final place in the Billy Boston Cup. Eaton maintained his 100% kicking record (now 19 from 19).
3 June: Captain Barry Eaton made it 15 from 15 and added a drop goal as Hervé charged towards the semi finals. They must beat Barcelona next week in order to qualify.
27 May: Hervé had this week off from Billy Boston Cup action.
20 May: Barry Eaton continued his incredible run (now 13 successive kicks) in a 26-16 win over RC Milan.
13 May: Hervé crashed to a 16-6 defeat against French rivals Saint-Maur today with only Barry Eaton's kicking of any note, he retains his 100% kicking record for the club.
10 May: Herve coach Paul Worthington issued the following after-match comments following last nights close defeat against Amsterdam.
"I would like to thank all at Amsterdam for agreeing to play us at short notice. It was an excellent contest between 2 very competitive sides and will help us both in our preparations for the forthcoming cup competition.
We were made to feel very welcome here and were looked after very, very well. All Division One teams should very much look forward to there trip over to Holland. The game was very close until the last 10 minutes when the Admirals came on with their match winning late charge.
I would like to congratulate them and their coach for the win and the spirit the game was played in. However, we will get our revenge when we meet again, hopefully in the semi-finals or final of the Billy Boston Cup. once again, a big thanks to all at Amsterdam."
9 May: Despite leading at half time, Hervé went down 24-15 against Amsterdam in their trial game. Atcheson scored the only try while Eaton kicked 5 from 5 and Danny Wood kicked a drop goal.
