1 July: Boothstown Trojans 17 French Patriots 6
With the game tied at 6-6 at half time, this game could well have gone either way but a strong second half performance from Boothstown secured a good first week win thanks to tries from Pryce, Nicol and Lam. Tane Manihera kicked 2 goals and Danny Orr made sure with a late drop goal. Paul Wellens scored all the Patriots points.
17 June: The Patriots stumbled out of the Shaun Edwards Cup after putting up a brave performance against competition favourites, the Welsh Dragons.
10 June: The Patriots had this week off and will face the Welsh Dragons in next weeks semi final.
3 June: Despite a dismal defeat against Salford, the Patriots secured their place in the semi finals of the Shaun Edwards Cup.
27 May: A great performance from the Patriots saw them go top of their group. Stephenson and Baynes got tries and Wellens kicked 5 in an 18-14 win over Northern Bulls.
20 May: French Patriots made it 2 from 2 with a 12-10 win over Stuttgart Hitmen.
13 May: French Patriots scored a comprehensive and shock win against Boothstown at home today with tries from Wellens (2), Stephenson (2), Stankevitch and Hammond. Wellens kicked all 6 goal attempts.
10 May: French Patriots fell to a convincing 16-2 defeat against First Division Saint-Maur Beavers in their only pre-season trial, however, coach Cyril Dary remains optimistic hoping to use the pre-season cup to test the team out ready for the main league season.
7 May: French Patriots will host Saint-Maur in a French Derby Trial Match on 10 May 2001.
28 April: French Patriots have released Marvin Golden to the player pool as surplus to requirements following the EIRL Player Draft.
